Purpose: Members of the Para Council's Chapter I60, which represents non-certified employees working in Voluntown Elementary School, will raise our concerns over the Board of Education's refusal to negotiate a successor contract and force the dispute to be settled in arbitration.
Agenda: Members will be speaking out during the citizen comments portion of the Board meeting to call attention to the District's failure to respect its paraeducators and other non-certified employees and its decision to waste taxpayer money on costly arbitration hearings.
Action: Come to the meeting to support our Union members.
